The best book I read this year was John Bevere’s, “Driven By Eternity”.

Who is the most inspiring person in history (besides Jesus) to you, and why?

Daniel from the Old Testament. His devotion to prayer, excellence, and holiness brought glory to the name of God in the most godless places of his time.

What are you listening to most on your iPod right now?

Right now I’m listening to Deluge’s new album and Leeland!!!!

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

My father and mother have been the most influential people in my life.

If you weren’t in ministry, what would you be doing?

I would have an awesome band that toured the world!

What’s your favorite hobby or activity?

Music is definitely my hobby other than the occasional basketball game.

What is one interesting fact that not many people know about you?

II am in love with caramel macchiatos not from starbucks but from the little coffee shop at my school (UTC). They are amazing!!


Chad is the director of Encounter Student Ministries. He moved to Chattanooga as a child, so he grew up as a vital part of Encounter, serving as worship leader as well as a cell leader.

After high school, Chad moved to Baton Rouge, LA to do an internship at Bethany World Prayer Center. Upon completion of his internship, he came back to assume his present role as leader of student ministries.

Chad’s passion is to see this generation experience the presence of Jesus.
