In Hamilton County, nine out of 10 people who are incarcerated are repeat offenders. While in prison, they often feel forgotten and unvalued by society. At The Crossing, we’re working to change the destructive, seemingly hopeless cycle in which these members of society often find themselves trapped. On nearly every day of the week, you’ll find men and women from The Crossing working in area prisons, teaching, mentoring, or just showing that they care. Every week, people who don’t know Jesus are introduced to the only true source of hope for their lives. If you’d like to become involved in our Prison Ministry, there is specific training in place to make you as comfortable and effective as possible.
